Very accurate data. Somewhat cumbersome UI
The forecasts and data provided by WeatherPro is the best of any weather app Ive used to date and Ive used MANY!! I continue to discover hidden data treasures in Weather Pro. Users should be comfortable tapping every icon as most reveal hidden layers of information. The app is a bit Eurocentric, but not in any substantive way that affects its use in the States. For my use (less that perfect eyesight) its incorporation of quite tiny text for some info is problematic. I was disappointed in its Apple Watch Glance. It uses a UI similar to Apples Activity Glance (concentric circles). But the rings are thin and ambiguous. The text is essentially unreadable. If you actually go into the Watch application itself, you are offered an option to present the information in a format different than concentric circles and that helps. The glance also presents the temp. in Celsius despite selecting Fahrenheit in settings on the iPhone. I work with Celsius enough to not have that be an issue, but some USA Apple Watch users may find it less than ideal. There are many features in the app that are only available to premium subscribers. Fair enough. But, it would be nice if ALL those features are labeled "Premium" to avoid constantly wasting time pressing icons that offer nothing to "regular" users. I am nit-picking a bit about some features here, although I do have a pet peeve against apps that forget not all mobile device users are 20 years old with bodacious eyesight.
